Chicken and Bacon Roulade


YOU WILL NEED:

2 tbsps Magnolia Gold Butter, melted
2 pcs fresh Shiitake mushrooms, stems removed then sliced
1 pc fresh asparagus spear
1 pc carrot, peeled and cut into strips
1 pinch fine salt
4 pcs Magnolia Chicken Breast Fillet
5 strips PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON

HERE’S HOW:

Pre-heat oven to 350˚ F. Pound chicken breasts flat then apply butter. Lay out evenly the mushrooms, carrots and the asparagus spear in the middle of the breast. Season with salt and pepper. Roll up the chicken breast tightly then roll another piece of the breast.

Starting from one tip of the roulade, roll Purefoods Classic Honeycured Bacon around it, using more bacon piece as you go around the breast, until you reach the other tip, covering the chicken entirely.

Lay the chicken wrapped in bacon on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the bacon has browned and the roulade is already firm to the touch. To serve, slice the roulade.

May be served with gravy on a bed of salad greens or rice. This makes 2 servings.
