Loaded Oatmeal Cookies


INGREDIENTS:

½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
½ cup vegetable shortening
1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar
2 pcs eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup cream
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp McCormick Iodized Salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp McCormick Ginger Ground
1 tsp McCormick Nutmeg Ground
1 tsp McCormick Cinnamon Ground
¼ tsp McCormick Cloves Ground
½ tsp McCormick Allspice
2 ½ cups instant oats
1 cup raisins
 1 tsp McCormick Vanilla Extract




PROCEDURE:

1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Grease 1 or more cookie sheets.
2. Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, shortening, and sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
3. Add eggs and beat until mixture is light in color. Add milk and cream.
4. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice; stir into creamed mixture. Fold in oatmeal, raisins, and vanilla, blending well.
5. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
