Quick Ham and Peas Pasta

























In a saucepan, heat ¼ cup butter. Add ¼ cup flour and whisk together. Add 3 cups milk. Cook until slightly thick, stirring constantly. Add 5 slices cubed ham, ¼ cup peas, 2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper, and ½ cup grated cheese.  Continue cooking until sauce is thick. Season with salt, if needed. Toss prepared sauce with cooked spaghetti noodles and top with more grated cheese.


TIP: Cook the sauce in a thick-bottomed pan and stir constantly so the sauce doesn’t stick and burn.
